This Privacy Policy explains how Razed Mods, LLC ("Razed Mods," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit or use razedmods.com, content.razedmods.com, and any related pages, downloads, or services (collectively, the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who We Are
Razed Mods, LLC is the operator of the Service and the entity responsible for the personal information described here ("controller" for users in regions where that term applies). You can reach us at jamal@razedmods.com.
2. Information We Collect
Account information (via Discord). We use Discord to sign you in. When you authenticate, Discord shares a limited set of information with us, which may include your Discord user ID, username, avatar, and email address associated with your Discord account, depending on the permissions you grant. We use this to create and manage your account.
Membership and subscription information. Access to certain content depends on your membership tier (for example, Gold, Platinum, or VIP). We receive information about your subscription status from the platforms that process your payments (such as Patreon, and Tebex where applicable). We do not collect or store your full payment card details — those are handled by the payment platform under its own privacy policy.
Download and usage data. When you access or download content, our servers automatically log information such as your IP address, the files requested, the date and time, browser and device type, referring page, and similar technical details. We use these logs to deliver downloads, secure the Service, enforce membership access, and prevent abuse.
Communications. If you contact us for support or send us a message, we keep the content of that communication and your contact details so we can respond.
Cookies and analytics data. See Section 5 below.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
- Authenticate you and manage your account and membership tier;
- Deliver, gate, and protect downloadable content;
- Respond to your questions and provide support;
- Monitor and analyze usage so we can improve the Service;
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security issues, and violations of our Terms of Service; and
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
Where required by law (for example, in the EEA, UK, or similar jurisdictions), we rely on legal bases including the performance of our contract with you (to provide the Service) and our legitimate interests (to secure the Service, prevent abuse, and improve how it works).
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We share information only with:
- Service providers who help us run the Service, such as Discord (authentication), our payment platforms (e.g., Patreon, Tebex), Cloudflare (content delivery, security, and cookieless web analytics), and our hosting provider. These parties may process information on our behalf and are expected to protect it.
- Legal and safety recipients, when we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with the law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Razed Mods, our users, or others.
- Business transfers, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use a limited number of cookies and similar technologies to make the Service work, together with a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not rely on cookies. The categories are:
- Strictly necessary cookies. Required for the Service to function — for example, to keep you signed in via Discord, maintain your session, and secure forms (CSRF protection). Cloudflare, which provides content delivery and security for the Service, also sets strictly necessary cookies (such as
__cf_bmandcf_clearance) to identify trusted traffic and protect against malicious activity. These cookies cannot be switched off without breaking the site. - Functional / preference cookies. Remember choices you make (such as display preferences) to improve your experience.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the Service is used, such as page views and overall performance. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless: it does not set cookies, does not use other client-side storage to track you, and does not build profiles of individual visitors. It does process limited technical information, such as IP address, browser type, and the pages viewed, on an aggregated basis.
We do not use advertising or marketing cookies, and we do not use cookies to sell your data.
Your choices. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Because the cookies we set are strictly necessary and our analytics are cookieless, you can use the Service without consenting to optional tracking. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Service from working.
6. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as long as needed to provide the Service, then for any additional period required to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Server and security logs are typically kept for a limited period and then deleted or anonymized.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International Users
We operate from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your own.
9. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, such as the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of it, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Residents of certain U.S. states (for example, California) and users in the EEA and UK may have specific statutory rights. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at jamal@razedmods.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights, and we may need to verify your identity before responding.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. The video games this content is designed for are rated for mature audiences. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Third-Party Links and Services
The Service links to and relies on third parties such as Discord, Patreon, Tebex, and others. Their handling of your information is governed by their own privacy policies, not this one.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and significant changes may be communicated through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
